A little something i have been working on.I thought i would just cut wall to size of aquarium, frame up a stand, set tank and then patch drywall.......Not.. The plant shelf above made this a take apart and start from scratch type of project. So 20 extra 2x4's,4 sheets of plywood,a gluelam and 6 sheets of drywall later it was done. The guy i did this for wouldn't budge on "everything has to fit under tank".So i went with a bare bottom 40 breeder, with a dart return pump and a Percision Marine Bullet 3 That sits in the sump with room to spare. Also fitted under the tank is a 35gpd ro/di and a 20 gallon resivore with float valve, that is tee'd to another 20 gallon container for saltwater for bi-monthly water changes.Wish i could take credit for the rock work that surounds the aquarium, but that was done by home owner and frend.Been up and running a month now and seems to be comming along great.First residents went in this week, after a 4 week quarantien at my house. They are 2 true perc's, a yellow tang, and two cleaner shrimp. Also 20 or so astrea snails and a few misc.reef hermits.

equiptment room

Well i tried to convence the owner on an entire room for his sump and other such items.............But the little lady of the house veto'd that plan so it all had to go under

Nice set up. Is it me or does the lady of the house always veto things when it comes to fish stuff:D

women and fish stuff
