The aquafuge was alittle more than expected so I cannot get that lil light. Im thinking about putting a 55watt actinic 03 pc over it. My question is: will the actinic be ok for it or should I go with a 50/50 or a daylight bulb? Thanks, JJ

I would go with a daylight bulb if you are growing any macroalgae. This will get more energy to the plantlife and more growth which means more harvesting and more harvesting means more nutrient absorbtion.

Hope this helps,
John

How much does a 55watt pc bulb at saltwatercity costs? 10-15? Im getting the fuge there, might as well pick up the bulb while I am there.

10-15 sounds a little low to me but I really don't know. You can call them, there number is in the sponsors list

If they are under 10k will they die? Or will they live, but just prefer the 6700 or 8800? I called them up and asked them if they carry the seperate fuge lights and paul said that they grow off the light thats in the tank? Im still gonna buy the 55 watt pc tho. Could I set it on top of the fuge since it is longer?

If you use the 55watt pc, you will want to make some sort of box to mount the bulb into to keep it off of the acrylic aquafuge. The heat from the bulb might cause some problems. It won't hurt anything if it hangs over.
There are some of those Jalli 13 watt bulb and fixtures that fit on the top of the aquafuge, on ebay.

Not sure how large that fuge is, but on my 20 I have 2 x20 NO florescent bulbs and the caluerpa is growing very well. So it maybe cheaper to get a different light. For over 4 months I had 1x20 NO bulb on my 15 gal fuge and the caluerpa lived but did not grow as fast as when the 65 watt PC was on it.
