Okay Presently I am running 4 geisman T5 HO's on my tank of mixed spectrum.

I can get Bluelife SPS bulbs for my tank for a fraction of the cost has anyone ever used these bulbs and giesmans?

How do oyu feel they stack up aginst giesman?

are you running them now?

Etc....

any opinion is valued Thanks,
John

I agree that usually you get what you pay for, but I wonder what the difference is?
Less PAR?
Too wide a spectrum?
In what way is it junk?

yeah but man I can replace ALL FOUR of my 24 inch bulbs with SPS light for around the same price as one geisman true actinic bulb.

I have 2 glow fixtures that have dual lights on my 20 gallon tank. it seems to be a little too much light becasue some of my zoas are bleeching. Though the acan echinata that I got from returnofSid is browing out on me. Oh a total of 4 24" T5HO.

Bluelife is not crap for a PC's !

china is china germany is germany

Bluelife has a new elite series that run on icecap or any other higher wattage (vho-ho) ballast
for now thats a draw back for bluelife HO T-5'S

I think there is one huge factory that makes all chinese PC bulbs

The gieseman pure actinic is the only true actinic in a t-5.

hands down thats a good bulb now for $27-40ea @ 24inch ,maybe not?

Bluelife's 24inchers are $12-$29.
