General Starfish dead?

So this is my 1st post ...

I purchased a serpentine starfish a week ago & he is doing fine. I purchased a general starfish today. Same acclimation 20 min float & 1 hour drip in sump w/o lights. I put him in the tank & he moved 1 foot in about 2 minutes & has not moved at all for an hour. I am guessing he is a man down? Will he bounce back? I know they are very fragile but.

Well I hope to have better posts in the future.

Starfish can stay in one place for a long period of time. If he starts deteriorating, then that's when you know he's a goner.

My 2nd post is much better. He is up & running. He just started up again after a few hours. I was under the impression that he would be constantly out & about. Thanks again for the reply.
