I like the one with two pumps but really one kick booty pump will be worth the extra dough! I see you raised the returns also, Regardles your planes are looking good!

Oh yea, Ridged PVC all the way after you get it all working the way you want. Also, go to other forums and get opinions elsewhere. It won't hurt, because once you drill your commited to that hole at that location! Well sorta anywhay!

Well, crap. The ampmasters say if you use 1" instead of 1.5" return and input that it reduces the flow to 40%. Thats a ton@! I wonder how running it to my 1/2" out lets would work? Hazzin Frazzin stinkin plumbing

Run a 1.5" all the way to the 1/2" outlets unless you can run larger outlets
you will need it for that much flow.

OnTheReef stopped by today and I was talking it over with him. I think I am going to use the three 1" bulkheads I have for the closed loop returns and intake and get two 1.5" bulkheads for the stand pipes. I may need to pick up a larger hole saw. How large is hole for 1.5" bulkheads? I know 1" is 1 3/4", but Im not sure about 1.5" hole is that 2 and quarter or something like that ???

Bulkhead Fittings, schedule 80

2", 3 1/2 diameter hole required: $25.00

1 1/2", 2 3/8 diameter hole required: $17.00

1 1/4", 2 3/8 diameter hole required: $16.00

1", 1 7/8 diameter hole required: $13.00

3/4", 1 5/8 diameter hole required: $12.00

1/2", 1 3/8 diameter hole required: $10.00

From Lifereef but not necessary you can just measure the BH and add 1/16" to the outside measurment.

I was going to use 40, will that be problem. They cost a quarter what the schedual 80 do and I can get them locally.

I also found of holes sizes in Custom aquatics print catalog.
