going to portland oregon. what saltwater shops should i go to.

so it has been many years ago that i have been to portland to go coral shopping. i have been and plan on going back to upscales. what other lfs coral shops should i go check out. if you have been to portland and been to some coral shops there. please let me know the names. thanks chad

Seahorse - Portland
Upscales - Tualatin
Ocean in a Box - Vancouver (under new management, I haven't been since the change but have heard good things)

If your heading further south

The Premium Aquarium - Salem

And really far south

The Nautilus - Springfield
Totally Exotic Corals of Oregon - Medford

But if your staying in the Portland Metro Cuttlefish and Corals is a must see. And maybe go to Salem just for kicks

well i havent gone yet. planning to go in october. so i was just wanted to know where all the good coral shops are at. 1guydude is setting up a carpool. so we all can get together and go coral shopping in portland. sounds fun.

sounds good. right on now we have a tour guide. well can you talk to those people and see if it would be fine for a group of peop;e to stop by there houses. so far as for now. we only have a handful of people going.

so as for what im looking for. my main intrest is ultra mini maxi's and ultra crusifer "rock" anemones. also love bright colored zoanthids and mushrooms.

i got an email from him, but delteted it. I've heard his new addy is 1204 NE 8th street Gresham, OR. Not sure of a phone# but I'd wager he kept his old one, or at least left a forwarding one.

I think he's supposed to be up and functional by end of month.

okay. so we are now going to portland this saturday november 2nd if anyone wanrs to carpool with 1guydude and me. should be a really fun trip. we are going to 2-3 local reefers houses and 6-7 shops from vancouver ro portland and to salem and back. it will be a all day trip.
