Gotfish's 125g

I guess I should put up a thread for this thing. I haven't finished the stand completely, I'll be staining tonight and hopefully have everything done tomorrow. The stand is pretty tall so the tank is easily viewable. I still need to aquascape it, I just ended up tossing the rock in there for the time being and I'll put up some new pics once I do that. Anyway, here's some pics.

Thanks Beoks, I just put that down. We were thinking about redoing the original floors, but it was gonna take too long and be too much of a pain.

Anyway, on with more pics. The stand is done. As long as you don't look too close at the miter cuts, it looks alright. Here's a couple pics of the stand.

The tank matches the floor pretty closely.

I'm getting ready to buy a 120-150 in May and cant decide between the 48x24 and the standard. How do you like it?

Thanks Jayson. I'm not very happy with my finishing work, but that's just me.

Bojangles, I like it, but I kind of wish it was wider. A 180g would have been better, but oh well.

Yes tike, it is. It was from my brackish tank which is what the 125g was previous to what you see. I've never read anything about whether it's reef safe, but from what I've seen, it doesn't do anything but eat algae off the rocks and glass. Him and the rabbitfish are buds. If you see one, the other isn't very far off.

Snapped some new pics this morning.

I thought this one was pretty neat. I haven't seen this little guy since I moved everything over to the new tank so it was nice to see him peaking out from the rock.

Bad pic, of my starry blenny. He's a bit tough to see anyway and this pic doesn't help.

I haven't gotten my new light yet, but will be getting a 6x80 ATI powermodule once I can get enough dough. Hopefully within the next couple of weeks.

I've got the money, but I had my hours reduced last week indefinitely. Now it's sitting in savings for the time being. If things start picking back up I'll grab it, but until then, it's on hold. Hopefully not long, but the sps are all under the light right now and seem to be doing fine.

Got a couple of pics of some fish that I've purchased in the last couple weeks. The sharknose goby has been in the tank a couple days now and I'll be putting the striatus tang in this weekend.

For some reason the color of the photobucket pic doesn't look the same as the pic on my hard drive so I'm gonna post both to see if it's the same here after I upload it.

I added a nice little piece of equipment yesterday. Obviously it hasn't broken in yet and it was running a bit wet, but the skimmate is already nice and brown. There are also some pics of growth and the new tang is in the tank.

I thought this was a pretty neat photo of the tang a day after getting out of QT.
