Wondering if you guys can help me ID a few corals. One is a green SPS, one is a blue SPS, and one is a higher-end birdsnest I got from Dang that I can't recall the name of....

Well, I am horrible with names. I dont know what any of the sps I have is called, if it even has a name besides acropora or millepora. I believe, however, the coral in the last pic is a Ponape Birdsnest.

You are right on the birdsnest. That was what dang told me when I got it.

The other 2 were not unknown from their previous owners. I will go check out the ID though. Thanks for moving the thread.

Seems not as simple to ID as I was hoping. Was hoping someone would see them and just know what they are. lol

Hello,
Identifying Acropora down to the species level can be nearly impossible. If you are looking for common names then maybe you can find where the original purchasers got them and then look up their names that way.

The first coral looks like Acropora abrolhosensis but a bit more thin (This could be caused by environmental factors especially flow).
The second looks like Acropora tortuosa.
The third one is Seriatopora hystrix.

Regards,
Kevin
