Help me choose a Calcium Reactor

Yes, this seems to be a major benefit of the dual chamber so I do want to take advantage of the opportunity. What would you recommend as this other media type for chamber #2? I couldn't put carbon in there, could I?

The calcium would just plug up the carbon. The only media I could justify putting in a second chamber would be arm since it disolve at a higher ph. That may eak out a little extra alk and ca. There really is no great benefit to the second chamber.

no to the carbon. the water moves too slow to do anything.

i do see some benefit to a second chamber, as long as the reactor is sized correctly.

1- is more effective/efficient use of CO2

2- higher PH effluent

3-it looks cool and can go up to 11 where as most others only go to 10:lol:
