hi guys,
i was away on a long vacation (1.5 months), leaving my stable 55 gallon reef only tank under the care of a friend. Infact the only thing he was to do was to check the water level and salinity and temperature. When i come back everything seems to healthy and infact grown a lot more big, except one of my purple-pink kenya tree seems to be missing. What remains in place of it is the stone from which it grew. I left my coral healthy and very big... thought of propagating.
It rested near a brown mushroom. Could it be possilbe that it grew so big, that my mushrooms stung/ate it?
The ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, calcium, ph readings are perfect.
The only thing new is the growth of the bubble algaes.
pls help me.
