against my better judgement i have ordered a rio nano skimmer

I run that skimmer on my 24gal Aquapod with the upgraded pump to a maxijet 1200. It doesn't produce a lot of flow at all as it drains out so you will be fine. It also skimms really well IMO. If you click on my aquapod link in my signature, you can see it setup!:)
 
thank you for your respond , iwent to your aquapod link, i di not see your tank, but i saw the stand. i will replace my rio pump with maxi jet 1200 as you have suggested. thanks again. jakleen
 
They are using needle wheel pumps in these arent they? I thooght it was another skilter but when i read they had needle wheels i thought they could work.

Where did you guys buy them from?
 
Krish you are using the aqua c nano not the rio nano skimmer. The rio looks more like the old skiltered did.

You're right! I didn't notice he posted rio nano skimmer :oops: I have the remora nano skimmer which for some reason was what I thought he posted. My bad...Sorry. :D
