Help with Tang ID

Hey Terry, I have had this tang for several months now, it is about 3" from nose to tail. It seems to change from dark grey to almost black at a whim. It can do it in a matter of seconds also. Some people thought it may be A. Bahanius, but I am not too sure and have no idea if it is going to change much as it matures. wow, i thought i knew all the tang family. thats a beauty. has the frame of a powder but the colors of a purple. come on, someones gotta know. mojo would know hes reef yoda, COME ON MOJO.lol
 
Tom, only thing I could find that was close was a yellowfin surgeon, Acanthurus xanthopterus. The body looks not quite as rounded but caudal fin markings and color are close. Maybe you have a juvenile. HTH
