I can see how easy it is to think the worst is over. Beauty & Firetail are looking happy, healthy & active now even tho I know better. The Ich is still 'infecting' the big tank. It does not just go away on its own. I tried to position my big net for a 'feed & nab' but as soon as it hit the water those lil buggers were gone! Zoom, right back into the rockwork. Copper level is holding in the Q.T. and those 2 (sand sifter & 6-line) are also looking fine. Not happy, but fine.

Of course, having lost my Tang, here comes the algae tufts again. Guess I need to refresh my phosban again.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. For me, the fallow tank was the hardest part of the reset process. Staring at an empty tank for months isn't fun, but it drives home the patience/quarantine lesson pretty hard.
