How fast do Acans grow?

So I got this 3 head acan frag a while back(my first). Been in my tank now for a little over a month. Didn't get any growth for about the first couple weeks, as it got used to the tank. Then I saw one little bump that appeared to be a baby. Week went by, it got a little bigger. then, BAM! 4 more show up. Now, I'm seeing at least 5 if not 6 baby heads growing all along this thing. 3 of which grow noticeably every day. I don't target feed it or anything.

I always thought these things grew kinda slow... Is this abnormally fast growth for this thing?

Growth rates of these corals can vary widely from coral to coral. In most cases growth rate is highly dependent on nutrition. If fed daily (directly or by capture) growth rates can triple.

Sweet. I'm seriously thinking about feeding these things now, just to see how ridiculously fast they'll grow. Should be interesting.
