Since the new upgrade, whenever we copy and paste a link here, instead of www. blahblahblah. com showing up which you have to click on, you have something like this
Krish's Bahamian Photo log show up instead that gives the link as a title and not a web address. Unfortunately I found out today that it doesn't always work like that here as a member was having a few issues getting it to work in their signature so I figured I'd do a step by step on how to create the link. Hopefully I can do a good job explaining it :)

First off, you will need to go to the link you want to add, highlight it then right click it and select copy. Screen shot below shows the link I am talking about which is the web address

Once you do that, you will paste the link where you need it to show up like in the reply section of a post or in your signature

Next, you will have to add a few commands to the link you just pasted (original link we pasted is underlined in black in the picture below) as follows:

(1) Red box in picture below shows what you need to add infront of the original web address which is [ followed by URL followed by =

(2) Blue arrow in picture below is pointing to this character ] which I think is called closed bracket maybe?? which you will need to put at the end of your link

(3) Pink box in picture below shows where you would type in the title of your link which follows that ] character we just added to the end of our link. This title will be all that shows up in your link.

(4) Lastly, green box in picture below shows what you need to add after you inserted your title which is open bracket [ followed by backslash / followed by URL followed by ]

And that's it! When you post your reply or save the link in your signature it will show up like this Krish's Bahamian Photo Log.

On a side note, I think it is only in signatures this method needs to be applied here as on the open forum itself, the software does it for you itself which shows up in a default blue color. If you look at the link in my signature, you will see it is bold and a different color blue. You can do the same by simply highlighting the title only in your link and then click the bold tab, color tab etc. Also, if anyone has any other easier ways to go about doing the same thing, you can add it here. :)

Cool! Thanks Krish, I'll give it try by adding a similar link to my build threads of new 125g

Cheers, Todd

P.S. Worked just like you said it would Krish
