I ordered from BRS a dual reactor for gfo and carbon, because I was constantly battling algae. Wow, my tank is crystal clear now. It dropped my phosphates from .50 to barely registering. I then removed the gfo, per BRS’s instructions, but have it ready to put back online if need be. I left the carbon in to keep filtering. The tank is noticeably clearer.
