I have a new baby! But whose is it?

Joy Joy Joy!!! I now have a one-day-old, beautiful red baby beadlet anemone!

Those of you who read my thread "baby beadlet or majano" might remember the false hope... but this one is for real!

I keep trying to guess which anemone produced this little jewel, and I am guessing it was my favorite one, the "juicy" red (no wonder it was my favorite). Now Stripey, the green stripey one, is acting pregnant (swollen, won't eat). If I get green stripey babies, that will be awesome!

Anyway, I now have my first American-born beadlet! And last night it ate a piece of mysis larger than its own diameter!

Hey guys. I am sorry to say this, but I lost the baby nem. It did great the first day, and then it just melted away. I have two guesses as to what caused it: either the low PH (dumb me, I did not check it until it was too late) or maybe it was not supposed to be fed right away. Then again, maybe it was not healthy to start with, being that there was only one and there are supposed to be numerous babies in each nem. I will do a better job keeping up with the water quality and feeding the adult beadlets, and maybe they will have another batch of babies.
