I am assuming that the space is because of a recess in the wall?

Your only real option is going to be a custom built tank as the standard dimensions only come in 36". Like I said you can hit up CFI in their sub forum here.

With Turtles I'd suggest having glass cut to your dims from a local Glass Co and build it yourself. Seth (akunochi) has a build thread you could check out on this.

Agreed! Acrylic will get destroyed by turtle claws and you won't like the quotes on custom glass tanks from us LFS. They would be shipped from out of state and its cost prohibitive on smaller jobs. See if you can find someone local or in the club who can help you build this tank. Seth and Adam come to mind.

Yeah I am by no means a professional shop, but I can do nice clean seams and I ensure that RS safety factors exceed industry standards. I shot him a PM. If it moves forward I'll post pic threads.
