I thought this was pretty neat. You can see the first image is unprocessed and straight from the camera. Doesn't look like much, I almost didn't even try it. Below is the processed version. Can you see a difference? lol

holly crap that is a huge difference just from the photo shop!!!
Maybe that is my biggest problem is the photo shop part of my pictures I just always crop then in paint or something...

What program do you use and how much is it??

Matt

I use three different programs. I process the RAW with a program called DxO Optics Pro, that program fixes lighting/distortion/noise issues specific to the camera and lens. This makes a huge difference, I used to process the RAW in photoshop but this blows it away. I then use Neat Image for noise reduction if it's needed. And the then the photoshop begins. It's quite the process, lol.

wwouu very huge difference :) .

where did you get those programs dood? or where should we all be buying them :p .

I really wanna learn because i suck really bad ..... to bad there's no way you could do a step by step thingy... with pics and stuff to see:oops:

I have no internet at home so I can't upload anything. I'll see what else I got once everything is back to normal.

Blazer, you always have some nice shots, but I was curious about your Unsharp Mask. What sort of adjustments/numbers do you use there? I only ask as a constructive criticism... it looks like your radius is pretty high, which causes a significant "halo" effect. For myself, I never take the radius beyond 0.3 pixels, and most often 0.2 pixels. With the radius this low, I can crank the amount as high as I need (even to 500%), and the definition comes in at a much more "micro-level" rather than large sweeping halos.

Lately, I've switched over to Smart Sharpen, instead of Unsharp Mask. It seems to be a little more... well, smart. :)

Those are the best photos I have seen on the site I dont know if it is the equipment , the program or the photographer or a combination of all of them but it is great.
