Sounds like nesting. Maybe they will lay eggs soon.

My clowns would do that to clear some space for the male to guard the eggs. But if they aren't breeding size then I dunno. The light looks great man.

So we had an interesting setback this week. The top piece of rock had a tendancy to wobble and it made me nervous so i decided to try gluing it in place. That didnt work. Then I decided to get some 2 part epoxy and try that. I picked up a packet of DD 2 part epoxy at BR and followed insructions and tried using it to cement the rock. I was having trouble getting it in the right spot and it ended up practically disintegrating in the tank and turned my tank into a bright pink soupy bubbly mess. The sump had 2 inces of frothy bubbles across the entire surface and my skimmer went insane. I did a 50 percent water change and ran carbon and fiber floss and have gotten everything back under control but it was a mess. Also after that evening my small clown started acting up. He would lay on his side on the bottom, just laying there and every 30 seconds or so he would swim a little and get back upright only to return to this lying position. I was pretty distraught and thought i was losing him but today he seems to have recovered and is back to normal rearranging all the sand in one corner of my tank. He picks up individual grains in his mouth and moves them out of the area.

Wow, what a pain! Glad your clown is okay.
Are the rocks too big to take out and epoxy them together and then put back in?

Oh man that is a scary thing to happen. I'm glad to hear your clown recovered. Those little fish are hardy :)

I think after your story I will scrap the plan to epoxy some rocks. I was thinking of doing a big arch but I think I'll stick to the little caves now.
