Nope. I never heard back after I sent it. It did shrivel up pretty bad though, so maybe there was nothing to look at when it got there.
 
I didnt' response? Darn, my memory's bad. Mucho apologies..... it was actually in good shape and it was a tunicate. Under a microscope the incurrent and outcurrent siphons were clearly visible.
 
Some tunicates can move, just like some sponges move. It's a matter of shrinking the attachment area on one side and expanding on the other.

Wow...I am floored by that. Had I known that was possible, I never would have bothered everyone about that little bugger. Thank you so much for your help. I get asked about that thing once-in-a-while and now I have something to say! :D
