Ike hurricane

Just a look at a hurricane, we just seem to attract them along with the tornado's. I live about a 1/4" from the botom center of Louisiana, Yea Way down there!

Texas looked like they took a pounding. So un-fortunate. Hope all faired well in Louisiana Scooterman.

I can't believe the rains from Ike are already up to St. Louis, MO. We actually have a flash flood watch right now.

South LA took lots of Surge Flooding, almost as bad a Rita. I on the other hand was very fortunate, I can believe one week we took Gustave head on & the second IKE came that close. Smaller tightly formed hurricanes usually punch High winds, Gustave didn't, IKE had a huge Eye & was massive, this caused to not to have the high winds also. The bad part was the surge waters raise 12/14 feet from out of nowheres.
ALL good! Oh yea BTW we as most do have generators, portable A/C, cases of water, can foods, lots of gas when we can get it LOL
Best thing we can do in most cases Is just leave, it is hard but that is the safest way.
