CHESTER, SC -- A witness to a black man being beaten by two white men, was attacked with a prosthetic leg.
Collin Stringfellow now has a black eye and a cracked cheek bone after a fight Thanksgiving night.
Stringfellow was standing outside a store in Chester, when he saw the two men beating up the other man.
"They was grabbing him by the shirt, they was trying to hit him through the sunroof, swinging at him," said Stringfellow.
When he tried to help, the two attackers tackled him and one beat him a prosthetic leg.
Roosevelt McClurkin, the first victim got away okay.
Deputies say the incident started when Donald Williford, a white male saw his daughter leave a restaurant with McClurkin, a black male.
Authorities say that's when Williford and his brother, Brandon followed McClurkin and his daughter to a store and attacked him.
Police say they were yelling racial slurs to the victim while attacking him. Police are investigating the incident as a "hate crime."
The two brothers are charged with assault and battery.
