is this bad?

i made ro water and its in my 5gal jug...i went and top off ro water to my tank(i dont have ATO) then all of a sudden i saw a quarter(coin) in the jug...i dont know how long it has been there but i already put 3 liters in the tank...

should i worry?
i know who put the quarter in the jug.its my 2 year old very behave son

the quarter is a bit brownish..
should i worry bout something and what should i do?
any advice will help and thanks

i wouldn't be to worried...i've had lots of things end up in my tank from my 3 year old and my own personal neglect and it usually ends up being ok...

Copper?

I might be wrong but looking at the edge of a quarter doesnt it have copper in it ? maybe run something to absorb the copper just in case ? Just something i thought of I could be wrong but i figured i would bring it up.

Quarters are made of a mixture of metals. It's mostly copper and then you have a little bit of nickel. In the early 1900s it was made out of silver.

my husband said that it wasnt there when he drained the water in the jug so im thinking my son just put it there while im making ro water,,it was like after an hour that i discover the coin in there...

so far im not seeing any changes or negatives in my tank
