I saw this on yahoo yesterday. I'd be down for eatin some lionfish.

They had a few tournaments here in the Bahamas where people went out and saw who could catch the most lionfish. Prizes were given and it was all in an attempt to rid our water of the lionfish problem. On one occasion they actually had people come in to show locals how to properly prepare lionfish to eat so we are in the same boat as the Jamaicans. Didn't realize the problem went that far south though...

I've heard all about this stuff, but still don't know where I can get some. I am a kitchen supervisor and full time line cook, and I've been dying to try some out for a special. If anybody knows or hears of a vendor that distributes edible lionfish, let me know.
