Yeah Vicki...forgot about that too. Like I said, it's not so much of a recipe as it is a philosophy. I mean, how many people take the time to test their food? I still remember a comment from Steve Weast on one of his visits when he said he felt my system was extremely low nutrient. I didn't buy it at the time, but with the exception of my initial cycle, I have never had HA in my display tank. So maybe a little truth to that.

Sup BJ? Yeah that bucket was a startling reality check IMO. See, I have never collected it like that before, but have always just let it go down the drain. To rinse into a bucket and see what i sthere was definitely a surprise.

So I finally put together a better summary of my DIY fish food procedure. I wish I had some pictures of the dirty rinse water or the test results, but this is probably more informative anyway.
