I took my Vortech from my old tank and put it on my new one. Its doing awesome, still playing with it to get a wave motion but its circulating everywhere, no dead zones.

Updated pics:

Transfered all the fish and coral from the old tank to the new one. Will be posting pics in the next few days or so.

I'm looking for a bluespot jaw fish or a midas blenny. Anyone...?

Been a long time for an update. Here are some photos from tonight. I'm still trying to play with the settings so I can take a picture that actually looks like the tank looks color wise.

I've added some more live rock and some new friends.

Videos to come soon.

Looking for some premium rock that is very porous and has lots of caves. I've only been ave to find large chunks that don't work. I need to finish off my tank with a large tower in the middle.

I was just looking at my tank and the weirdest thing happened. From the backside of one of my rock towers, I saw this huge string of microbubbles. They were so constant that it looked like a string going to the surface. Does anyone know if there are any type of animals that release air/gas in a concentrated small bubble fashion? I looked at my rock and I didn't see any animal.

I've recently added some more live rock and re-arranged some corals. My birds broke into 3 parts so they're separated into different spots. I also got a cheap green with purple rim fungi that was damaged on some of its ridges and I'm trying to bring him back to good health.

Here's a video I just took with my iPhone.

Here's another short video of my tank with my iPhone. I saw my middle largest hermit crab crawling on my birds nest. I was worried that he'd fall since I just glued the coral in that spot yesterday. I was taking a bunch of video thinking if it did fall I could catch it. He's since moved off.

This video is shot at 4x speed.

Here's a stop motion video that I did from the left side of my tank with my iPhone. It took a picture about every 2 seconds for 15 min.

Tank is doing good. I captured some bad Xanthidae crabs and moved them into the sump. I've also added a pistol shrimp and rose antenna goby combo.

I've noticed that in my sump in the bubble baffles and also in my overflow chamber im getting these weird pineapple looking things growing. Not sure what they are of if they're good or bad. Can anyone let me know?

Figured it out. They're harmless.

Picked up some new friends yesterday. I got a Pygmy Cherub Angel, Porcelain Crab, Glass Shrimp (Periclimenes holthuisi), Sexy Shrimp, a Deepwater Yellow Gorgonian, and some small live rock chunks. Everything is doing great, pics to come hopefully this year, but might be next year, he he.
