Hi everyone, I haven't posted a pic. since I added 108 watts of T-5s to my 260 watts of PCs 7 months ago because my clam was beginning to bleach. I want to thank all you guys for the kick in the A$$ and made me see that I needed them for my clam. He came back better than ever and as you can see, everything in my tank is growing like a weed. I just had to sell some of my corals because they started to shade each other out. Here is a pic. from last week. Hope all your tanks are doing as well. Happy reefing Brian:)

Thanks for the compliments.
I have a 75 gal with 20 gal sump. I do like the 105 watts of T-5 but I have to say that for 4 years I had just the 260 watts of PCs. And my tank did great. I only got the T-5s for my clam. I guess I just want to tell the reefers out there with PCs is that they can have a great tank also. My monties and everything grew very well. Just don't get anything that is more light demanding than that. Also, don't get a clam without T-5s.

I had a Gigas Clam for awhile on PC's, placed alittle more than halfway up the tank. Ofcourse my fish selection wasn't pro-clam hehe.

Thanks guys, I must say that I am really proud of it. I started 4 years ago with a 36 gal. with a bio wheel. Well, once I got a couple corals and a few fish, somehow the tank shrunk.So,4 months later, not too bright me,got a 55 gal. which I thought was the cats meow. UNTIL I got more liverock and tried to clean the front glass-what a pain. Then it hit me,DUH, I can fit a 75 gal in the same spot and still keep my 390 watts of PC lighting. I could have gotten the 90 gal for only $20.00 more but I thought I would have to get MH lights, which I refuse to get. I didn't know what a T-5 light was and besides, money was tight. I lived with the 55 gal with the terrible overflow which one time got air in the line and dumped about 5 gal of water on the floor, for about a year. So I had my 75 gal for 2 and 1/2 years now but 1/2 of my corals and 2 of my fish are 4 years old. With the new tank I added a 20 gal. sump and I kept my 260 watt PC fixture and traded in my 130 watt PC for 108 watts of T-5 lighting to support my clam, which as it grew, was beginning to bleach. I'm finally at the point where I have to sell some corals cheap at times to make room for others that are being shaded out. Unless I move into a bigger house, I'm content with saying I'm finally done!!! :D I have to add a PS, you guys helped me a lot, Thankyou, Brian
