i accepted an offer to buy a house :)
first off, 2 years ago if you would of asked people, this is a day i thought never would come.let alone alot of members of this board and others.. i have had many struggles in my life even just getting past my troubles was very difficult... but i am proud to say that i have come this far. it wasnt easy, but like i said i have put all my efforts into becoming a person, who above all is respected. and i take great pride in this, it just goes to show that if work hard, heed the advice of other respected people, keep your head clean, and know your downfalls, you can achive things...

anyway.... thank you to all thoese who have helped me along the path of recovery, and for thoes who will help down the road..
heres a few pics
oh im so excited i forgot the rundown... 1600 fsf... 3 bed 2 bath, split level, walkout, nice deck (one of the maintence free ones) ohhh i almost forgot.... its got a hottub
oh and the pic of where the big screan is at... that gunna be the placement for my tank once greg schields is done making it

Congrats! I am very happy for you man. I wish that I could get one like that around here for 148. It would be closer to 250-300+ around here

We are just getting started on house hunting ourselves :D Good to see you around here, been a while.

the 148k is after my 17000 dollar downpayment.... but thanks... now that this is over, i might be around more :)

congrats on the house purchase.

my partner and i are just beginning the house search. i could only dream we'd find something around here for 148k. median house price here is around 350k.

i should mention , the location is in baldwin wisconsin. little town of 2000 people or so... perfect to raise a child (which should pop out any day now) as well as to raise my 26 week old boxer :)

Congrats Big reefer! Buying a home is an awesome accomplishment! Now show us the Walls ready to be cut into for a tank!! hehehe

I say this because my wife and I are looking at selling our home in Kirkland and moving into a new house too.. Every house I walk into I am looking for ONE thing.. A 12 foot wall shared by two rooms for a in wall two room tank :)
