Hey all,
I'm pretty new to the "hobby"!
Just set up my JBJ 24 DX Nano Cube around the first of this year. It's been up for almost a month now. I've added a small CUC, and now just patiently waiting and researching!

This forum looks like a great place, with a lot of people who are in my area!

David

Welcome to Reeffrontiers David!! just wondering, what does CUC stand for???

Don't mind Ron...He's a newbie  Welcome to RF David!!! :D I'm sure you will enjoy it here...Have any pics of your tank??? :)
:D

It's nothing all that exciting yet...

So far I'm happy with it! It's nice being all in one, and I got it for a pretty good price with the stand included.

Looks good to me man...You're off to a good start! :D You may notice over some time that you may need to add in a powerhead or so to get a bit more circulation in there. Just using the single pump that comes with the tank probably won't provide you with enough flow to cover the entire tank (although not that big) because you'll want good surface aggitation for good oxygen exchange and also cover all of the deadspots so just keep it in mind :).

LOL!!! I know how to run one though :p

Yep... I upraded the stock pump with a MJ1200, and added a Hydor flo instead of that stock outlet! Need a new picture I guess...

I'll be getting a Koralia 1 before adding any coral as well.

Cool!! Sounds good! I guess I'm a bit of a flow freak  I had a 24gal aquapod and here's what I did to get good flow... I removed the factory backwall, added in my own backwall and installed (3) mj1200's for flow and also popped in a tunze nano stream  There's a lot you can do with these little tank's so don't feel too limited because of the size :)

What do you mean you had a Aquapod? Where did it go?:?:

LOL!! It went on my patio...I tore it down to do a bit more DIY to it (I drilled the bottom and wanted to make an internal overflow to add in a sump) but I realized I wanted something bigger again:p Still trying to decide after all these months what I will do though. Guess we'll hopefully soon see :)

Yeah, I fear the day I decide I want a BIG tank!!! :|

LOL!!! That's the best part about the hobby though...Finding new things to do, making upgrades etc. All of it makes for a great experience :)
