Some new pictures to document new critters and new growth.
We also got an LED spotlight, so my first attempt at showing off the fluorescence of some of these guys.

Chalice (I was messing around with it too much, and I think I may have pissed it off with the new led light, so the back edge bleached out, but it's growing back again)

And the biggest news of all-

A few months ago we received a new tank from a coworker of my mom's, and I just finished building the stand for it, based on jrgilles' plans at http://www.reeffrontiers.com/forums/f12/open-backed-75g-aquarium-stand-50524/

The new tank is 48x15x18 inches, 60 gallon tank. We are moving from Seattle to Friday Harbor in about 2 weeks, and when we move houses we'll move into the new tank too.

Here's how it looks without any water:

THANKS TO JRGILLES FOR THE BEAUTIFUL STAND DESIGN AND VERY VERY VERY CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS!!!

That is a great tank. And great job on the stand. You have to hurry up and move. We want to see this tank set up!

Thanks guys! I'm looking forward to having a little more room to spread everything out. It's funny how there always seems to be one more coral you want to get than there are places to put it.

Hey, by the way, do I need to be concerned about cycling in the new tank when I move? I'll be transporting all the live rock and most of the water. When we arrive I'll have to add between 15-20 gallons of new water to compensate for the 46 --> 60 gallon change. Any reasons I should be worried about nutrient spikes when we switch tanks?

June 10 is the move date, so keep an eye out for a new thread around then.

I just moved and set up a 50 gallon, upgraded from a 36 corner tank. What a difference, it is so much better to be able to spread the corals out. I added 25 pounds of Marco Dry Rock on top of my 35 pounds of live rock and everyone (corals) seem happier. Also gives more room for more corals. You have a beautiful bunch of corals, they will enjoy the new tank.

I Just moved my 34 gal tank into a 54 gal tank. Added a bit more live rock at the sametime. Everything is doing great. I moved a 55 into a 75 a while back. No problems with a cycle or a spike then either. You should not have a problem.

Thank you Lorrrie. When I first put the fish in the tank, my McCoskers Wrasse looked like he was dying. He was laying on top of the attachment of my powerhead for about an hour. Then he started swimming around, exploring his new digs. He was in and out of the different holes and caves, he now seems very happy. My clown always seems happy, so I don't think the move affected him at all.
