Well, I felt like it was best if I dedicated one thread to my tank rather than starting up a new thread everytime I do something new and using up valuable server space. So I've started up this thread which will show my new setup for my 90gal all-glass tank from start to finish, including my new ideas for it, new additions etc. I had thought about getting an acrylic tank (which my wife finally agreed to let me get), but I've opted to give myself a bit of a challenge with working out all of my aquarium issues (like flow etc) working with a glass tank. I feel like it could possibly be a good source of information for those who have no choice, but to use a glass tank that cannot be drilled.
Pictures will be added as soon as I get my computer back from being repaired. By then, I should have accumilated quite a bit of pictures and made quite a bit of progress on my tank...I hope you'll will enjoy what I'm attempting to do as much as I am going to enjoy bringing it to you. Just for the record, I am leaning more towards a setup that has a "Bahamian" theme meaning the majority of anything that will be in my tank will be mostly from our Bahamian waters. The only thing that will be imported is the majority of the LR, simply because I have some already and the weather is getting to the point where it will become kind of hard to get otherwise...
Just a little note to those of you who may be "against" removing things out of the wild or natural waters (like corals, fish etc), there are only a handful of people interested in saltwater aquariums here in the Bahamas, most of which, are only interested in fish. What I may remove out of our waters to put in my tank will not be anything that will disturb any reef from prospering or our natural habitat. I care to much for our reef's to hurt them. In any event, what I will be able to hold in my 90 gal, would never come close to touching the amount of marine life we have stretched across 700 islands here. Just think of it this way...All of what anyone has in their tanks had to stem back from the ocean to start with and I definately won't be doing anything that will disrupt any natural ecosystem...
