RF,

Just completed a large 72x48x38 steel stand for a buddy of mine who owns Aquarium Co-op. Corey has a store mascot named Hank, he is a freshwater puffer.
The stand is made with 2x2x 3/16" square tube. Corey also needed an overhead rack that is 38" above the deck. The rack is 37x12, and can be flipped from the right to the left. One trick feature is the stand has 6 adjustable legs that will make the stand sit at 48"-52".
The stand will be holding one of CFI's 360 gallon acrylic aquariums. (72x48x24)
Check out a few pic's before it got loaded up to head to powdercoating. Enjoy, Jason

Always cap the steel tube to prevent moisture from getting in.

Overhead rack.

Adjustable legs, the 14" 1.5x1.5 square tube slides up into the 2x2x 3/16" square tube on the stand which doesn't hold any weight. They prevent the leg from moving at all. The weight is planted square onto the 2x2x 1/4 leg that features a bolt that will help level the stand. This is a one piece unit, and had to take them to a buddy's steel shop as he has a 50 ton press to mate the two pieces of square tube. Trust me when I say they aren't never coming apart!
