Got my LEDs paid off and should ship hopefully next week. I am getting ready to order the heatsinks from Heatsink USA and going to strip the Oak hood which is still in pieces in the garage and give it 2 or 3 coats of Minwax Helmsman. I bought 4 new 80mm fans a controllern and apower supply so I can adjust the speeds individually. I have a total of 60 3 watt cree LEDs 30 royal blue and 30 cool white. The controller is new to Rapid Led and is not even on the web site yet. It will control the blues and whites individually so no need for 2. It has 3 Daylight Program Mode (sunrise/daylight/sunset times). We use a special wire at work for wire looms we make up for the DOTs sanding trucks. The wire is pretinned for corrosion and is the same wire the marine industry uses. I will post picks when I get started.

Can't wait to see it, how much was the LED kit?

$483 including a 4 led moonlight kit. The heatsinks are about $100. The power supply for the fans was $10.00. The fans and controller were $44. Geez why did you ask me that? That is a lot of money :)

Because I want to upgrade to LEDs soon and am curious of the total cost of a DIY vs a OBD fixtures and I have a 90 gal. Thanks for sharing!
