A friend gave me this frag 5-6 months ago.
The polyps didn't open for several days and when they opened I thought they were a very strange color of blue.
But I liked them..


























But look what they turned into.





Guess they just needed to get some mh light.

Yeah .

It must have been in a area in my friends tank that got very limited light and bleached out.

looks cool thoughmost of the time some zoas they look pretty when bleached...

I moved some zoanthids from a 250 watt mh to a tank with a 70 watt mh and they all did about the same thing over several months. But returned to the original color after being moved back.

Where did you get the Pumilo's Exclusive Skittles? I have some of those I got from Indoor Reef in Tacoma and some of the same but with orange skirts... They are one of my favorites. : )

I bid on them on ebay awhile back and won them with others like spiderman's, jimmy's fire zoa's, and my precious zoa which was the main reason i bidded in the first place that one wasn't worth 45 and im not impressed by it!
