I have quite a few different zoas but Im new to the site and I dont think I have access to it yet..

Looking at zoaid.com, they do look like eagle eyes.

i found an old pic of my eagle eyes..

sometimes eagle eyes and whamin watermelons are confusing...there are some deepwater zoas that looks like eagle eyes and whamin watermelon..either way they are all nice to me...

i know finn knows more about distinguishing them...they are his favorites

Interesting...they certainly do resemble some of the Wham'n Watermelon shots on zoaid.com. Gotta luv when free Zoa's show up on a rock!!

My eagle eyes look like the ones in post #1971

In zoaid, the Eagle Eye pictures look more like Wham'n Watermelon than Eagle Eyes...

IMO, whammin watermelons and eagle eyes are pretty much the same.
Someone a while back must have decided his eagle eyes looked just a little bit better than others and decided to rename them whammin watermelons. And now when you come accross a EE/WW that look really nice, they are WW and the duller ones EE.
The color pattern and colors are pretty much the same.

The first time I came across the WW name a person in the area was selling them as a new zoanthid and wanted a small fortune for them. So it just seemed like a money thing to me.


But yeah, they are my favorite and one of my very first multi-colored zoanthid.

OR the newer ones have near lost there purple center and are called "Tangerines"
Heres mine still an actual EE morph.
but yes finn knows zoo's especially EE and he's right.

i have 1 purple hornet that is doing that but they are still a baby
and 1 kigs hornet too...
i have 1 mohawk that did that im not sure if i still have it..
also 1 magician...i will check if its still here...
