2 months they seem to be doing great I have heard of some issues keeping them but they seem as hardy as any other zoa.



I guess it just depends on where you get them. I've had one large colony and a small colony, bought at two separate places that melted in 3-5 weeks.


I now have a small colony that I've had for about 4-5 months and still going strong.

Back when they first started coming to local stores, people were saying that they needed very high light and strong flow to survive.
The ones I have now, I'm keeping low in the tank with medium flow.
 
Some of my Zoa Colony's are filled in again. Here are some updated pics. They took a beating after moving and keeping them in a frag tank in the garage for a year. I have had my new system up for a year now and things are finally starting look pretty good.

I am pretty sure you got the Ring of Fire from me a few months back?

I am not really sure how long the zoas took to grow. They took about 6 month to recover from neglect :D

Now teach me how to grow ACAN's like Andy does..
HOLY cow.. he gets such size and growth on those things..
