depends on the chalice, i've had some that have doubled in 6 months like my oregon mummy eye but my tyree pink watermelon has been a painfully slow grower and I feed both 2-3 times a week.

I have some that only gained a 1/8 inch in two months and some grow from 1" frag to 3x3 small colony in a year.
