Well, I just sent a reply email asking why I have to call and they can't put the concentration amount in an email. We'll see where that gets me.

On a side note about squid -
Cephalopods camouflage with chromatophores
Mike, just curious if this is present in squid - is this what you were referring to about the ink issues?

no, but maybe lol. I know that if you eat to much yourself it has effects, that is why I have avoided using it.

Matt I dont feed my corals directly. I feed the fish, the fish poop and the poop takes care of the corals. Most corals dont have great ability to capture and hold onto live food, it takes alot of energy and they arent very good at it. Although some can, the vast majority of thier outside food come from motile food and that is made up of detritus and the bacteria/bugs that come with it. Again the concept is to have the detritus suspended in the water column so that it is available to them.
So in my tank they get thier outside nutrition from , detritus, microscopic particles of the food I feed the fish and through tissue absorbion.

Ok, drum roll please....

The frozen form no longer has ethoxyquin and apprantly, the freeze dried might or might not have the preservative. The only way to know is by calling them, having the product in your hand with a lot number, and the technician will be able to give you a concentration.

Hope this helps

that's good information. they never even responded to my emails. ugh!

i'm using the frozen and it's relatively fresh. a few weeks old so hopefully mine doesn't.
