Live rock with blue sponge

I have about 30 lbs of live rock for $50. Couple big flat pieces and some have blue sponge.

been thinking about picking some up to throw in my sump... is the rock cured, or would you suggest curing it before use?

Half of live rock was in my display tank for 5+ years, some 3+ years, and a small amount dry rock. Pic above...it's in my sump right now....leftover from my recent 180g build.

True...few pieces with sponge still there. Some may not even want any blue/yellow/pink on their live rock lol.

If I had the time I would snag it all, especially if it had color.

it would be next weekend before i could pick it up.... i'll check back on this to try to arrange something, but i wouldn't want to ask you to hold it or anything....

Pieces top left are covered with blue sponge. That blue sponge is growing way too fast in my sump.
