You can call up any local water garden builder, usually they have the machine for it... It was safe... However I went the extra step and covered the foam in bondo.

2 shot to show were every thing is going to go. most of the holes will be cut before I coat it

Just go buy a big tub of it... Should go pretty quick, the foam will turn into a rock... It will be virtually impossible to break.

Reefsupply sorry I haven't been adding information into this forum. I've done many tide pools, but our store has been in the process of moving locations.. If you have any questions just PM me.

Ummm Bondo eats this foam, thank god I tested it before i did it. If it hardens it might be ok looks like it ate about 2-3mm of it

All ready on it, it headed to the glass shop on monday, cost me a case of beer :) should have it back by thurdday next week

looks like I'll have it back on tuesday so I can do the texture and coloring, plumbing so on. I might use the 4way on it when all is done. I fugure it will give me constant flow rate and I will have a better overall water quality in the tank. It's looking nice I'll get a shot of it sat. ( he came and picked it, said hell work on it this weekend and have it done by monday night.)

Well we are looking forward to seeing the pix. Hope everything is going well on this project.

Everything is on hold for a few days Just been swamped with work, It's all ready to be piped I'll try to get a shot of it soon Just been running around like a crazy.

It's Still not done I got really busy with Spring aproching. It's all glassed and I have about 1/2 of it textured. Just been really swamped.

So there were no problems with the fiberglass resin eating the foam? Seems surfboards are made with special foam cores that don't melt when glassed.
Can't wait to see update :)

I agree w/ Doug, we need a update here on this wonderful idea. I hope that you soon have some time to complete it
