Making Kalc reactor, Help?

Well I think I have enough scrap acrylic layin around to build a kalk reactor. but I need some help as to how they work exactly does anyone have a drawing or can make a detailed drawing I can go off of the build one? I need to get this done as I am working on my sump in the garage. I am tired of mixing kalk all the time...

Matt,
There are examples of DIY reactors on the web. I used pvc as it was very inexpensive. I used an external pump to mix the solution off a timer (couple of times a day) and I feed the reactor with a dosing pump and RO water and a cheap timer to run the dosing pump for one hour a day. Simple pvc parts and easy to build. I will try and post a diagram later.
