"how to frag tutorial"

Our meeting in may will be a "how to frag tutorial"
We will be fragging acans, chailce, acros , zoanthids..and possibly mushrooms
Feel free to bring your stuff if you would like it fragged,
Also we will be having PSAS purchased corals to frag out..
(these will going home with members attending the meeting)

The meetings are ALWAYS the third Saturday of every month except July and August. For the last two years they have been at 1:00PM. The topic and location varies from month to month.

I want to try and make this (probably bring my wife too),
should I purchase my membership at the meeting or at my LFS?


I've never fragged anything before
will this cover softies/zoa's as well as LPS/SPS?
what should I bring?
(do I need my own tools? rubble rock/frag plugs?)

Exactly what I'm thinking. I need to pay membership dues, do it there?

I've also never fragged, and my tank is still pretty young. If there is a basic list of fragging stuff we should bring, please post it. Us noobs are going to need to pick up some basic frag supplies anyway, so might as well do it now imo

Same here, long lime in the aquarium hobby but new to reefs... I have had a great time with those on the northend (ARSA) and look forward to meeting the rest of the community.

I want to frag out my Zoes and would love a quick demo to get started.

I will need to buy membership at the door but would like to sign up for a mailing list if available to get news direct.

Meetings are scheduled from 1:00 - 5:00pm but rarely go that long unless it is a frag swap.

And for clarification we will not be skinning, eating, fragging or in any way harming any felines! Hmpff. . . .Boys and their power tools . . . .
