Water is doing just fine.....got a bit of an algea factory going on, but that is to be expected in a new tank. Picked up a pair of Lawnmower Blennies today after the meeting as well as about 20 snails

Thanks for the meeting, it helped me out a lot by just watching someone do it. Great and friendly people to hang out with .

I got some frags to start out my tank. The xenia is wilting though. I'm hoping it comes back.

I use my xenia as a gauge of general water quality, the fact that it is withering may mean your chemistry is off. Might want to test stuff.

Not necessarily!!!! Some people can grow it and others cant. In some cases it has absolutely nothing to do with testable water quality.

my son threw a nickel in nano tank full of xenias...it starts melting,everything melted in just a few days...so if u have kids and u see your xenias are melting for no reason..check your sump
