I second the staying in the room forever comment, I used to have 4 tanks in my room now only one :( I miss all the action. But those look AMAZING. I'm happy you were able to accomplish this.

Thanks guys!

Jay, I am running two Radium 250w SE bulbs and the middle is an eBay 20k 250w SE all three run on Lumatek ballasts. I have actinic lighting for the setup but it will not be installed until after I get the lumenbright style 3 reflectors made and build a light rack for it all. Those pics are just Radiums.

Cesar, I'd love to get a par meter but I'm not sure what to buy or how much it will cost. I think it would be more helpful in the future between the LED setup I built for my Dad and just knowing how strong the light is for each coral (granted it hasn't been a problem so far but I think it would be cool to know).

WOW....I just have to say...WOW so pretty!!!
I wouldnt get out of this room ever either.
WOW

hey have you noticed your new CBB picking on your LPS?

Nope, not yet. Monitoring it closely, the copperband has been in the tank a few days longer than the corals now. All the fish were pretty happy to have the corals come back though and the copperband was swimming around all of them. It mainly just picks at the rocks. It's really cool, all the fish are very friendly and come swimming to the glass when they see you. I did notice some new tears on my yellow tangs fin tonight (I have it and my purple in the 75 gallon tank) so I think I will probably separate them for now :(

Your room is amazing !!!!! Perfect tank, perfect aquascape , perfect corals, perfect fish ..total package!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you!

I bought some cabinets on sale at Home Depot yesterday and hung them today. The bottoms are actually the uppers from the kitchen before remodeled it.

Now I won't be yelled at for leaving test kits in the kitchen :clap2:

I used some CAT5 and a dual outlet 6P6C box to make an extension for my Reef Keeper. This one is running along the length of the stand so I can keep most of the controller equipment in the back left corner while keeping the head unit itself on the left side of the 125 gallon tanks. I hope that makes sense.

I also am putting a PC4 outside in the garage where all of my ballasts will be mounted, I have a CAT5 wire running from the back left area of the aquarium to this part of the garage as well.

Here is me testing the connection, it works!

I will probably be running the SID off the other port in this box so I can run MyReef2.0 on my computer.

I ordered two Koralia 1400's for more flow, I didn't like the new mounting style so I retrofitted the shorter pegs from the new ones onto the older style mounts.

This system also outgrew my RKL so I ordered a RKE

SL1, SL2, and PC4. There are also two more PC4's, one out in the garage to control the lights and one on the other side of the stand. I might have to buy another :-/

I modified the iTemp probe from my RKL using a switch adapter kit so it will work with my RKE.

I also added some clams to the tank, after two years of waiting I finally have some and they are a lot of fun!

I used some old store credit to buy a Regal Angel and a couple other fish online (which I'm glad to be done with. Everything looks good this order but in the past I had too many fish not make it :tsk:).

I did some more programming on the Reef Keeper Elite tonight and must say I am very impressed with it. I knew what it was capable of but it is so much fun to play with.

I setup my calcium reactor tonight. I'm using an AquariumPlants.com electronic CO2 regulator with a Geo CR618 reactor (which is now undersized for this system). I have the SL1 pH probe handling the reactor itself and the SL2 pH probe monitoring the tank pH. I have a feeling I will also need to add a kalkwasser reactor to the system.

I also wired up float switches and programmed the RKE to handle my ATO. I need to build a wave guard though as the float switch fluctuates too much.

I also added more substrate to the end 125 gallon and it looks great.

I'm thinking about trading my MP60w for two MP40w's, the MP60w is a little too powerful for the 18" wide tank :(

I tossed together a computer for the fish tank while I wait for the USB to network converter ma bob, having entirely too much fun with this :D
