Impressive build. LOL'd, at the angel taste testing comment. I have an Asfur angel and everything must pass his inspection, it is either edible and I lose it or taste icky and I get to keep it :eek:hwell:

Some updates

we rearranged the rocks in the 210g and got some chairs for the room. We still need to tile the floor, build the cabinets and finish the lighting but getting closer.

Thanks!

I also mounted a monitor to the wall under the cabinet tonight, I need to finish building a computer and wire it all but this will be for the myreef software.

If you need help, I've pieced together a few pcs, and can probably get it done for you.

It's been over a year since I updated, the system has been running great and here is an underwater video from about 6 months ago

Unfortunately my Dad sold his house so we are in the process of taking down the system, which is a ton of work and a little bit heartbreaking. Fortunately we have places to put it. We have filled a 255 gallon peninsula tank at his office with half of the corals and the other half are going into my friends 225 gallon built in take we just finished building. The rest, mainly monti plates and stuff the angels and butterflies won't nibble at will be going into the 210 gallon that we will be moving to his office.

I will head over and take some more pictures of the system before I finish moving it. Unfortunately with how hectic it has been I didn't think to take one before I disabled half the system to move to my friends house yesterday. I will get those up in a few days.

In the mean time this is the 255 gallon peninsula tank, it is a full SPS reef with a custom LED lighting setup I built using 266 high powered 3w LEDs. There are 11 tangs in it and my family of 7 clowns. These pictures are somewhat old, we are still in the process of moving corals over

It is really cool to see all of the tangs together, getting along. It was quite nerve racking for a bit there adding so many fish at once

I have entirely too much time into this lighting setup :-/

It consists of five light bars I made using 1-1/4" aluminum tubing, it was the only way to go about it to achieve the maximum amount of clearance in the hood
