Multiple notifications on new posts

Hi

It seems like when i first started participating on Reefrontiers, I would get only one notification (email) when there was a new post on a subscribed thread. Now I get an email everything time anyone posts on it, and if enough time goes by I'll have quite a few notifications. How can I stop this?

Under control panel click on edit options, in there you can select to not get email notifications...

I like the email notifications but usually you will get an email once, upon the first new post since you last looked at the thread. And no further notifications until you visit the thread. That's what I'm familiar with from other forums in any case. Is that not doable here?

I had to disable any e-mail notifications totally ans stop subscribing to any threads for that same reason. My inbox use to be full in no time(LOL)

Me to. Mine goes to my pda phone and drives me crazy.
