Clams bought few days back

I guess at least this one is happy in his new home. i love when clams open up so much.

I would love to find this color birdsnest with fine needles Had it in my 180g. Need one for my 500

New Pictures of 500g DT

Adding few photos taken by a fellow hobbyist who visited us yesterday Hope you enjoy these postings and Thanks FYI
First is taken of Middle Section closer to the top of the tank just right of center

Second is also middle top just left of center of DT

Picture of Elephant Ears (EE)

These really open up bigger than shown here. They take a lot of space in a tank. Reproducing nicely. These layers over layers are newly formed EE. Enjoy!

My Ricordias

I am reorganizing the tanks corals and grouped my Rics on bottom left of my DT. I have few more not shown here

Two more of DT

These last two pictures should complete the view of DT when viewed from FR.

Right side

Left Side

Pls let me know what this is??

Can someone tell me what is the line line in the middle of each eye?

Thanks Nana I just did not notice them till of late as I moved them more within sight!!

One more "NanaReef" I thought they are unique to my tank as I was going to give them a crazy name like ' World Clock Zoas" and sell them for umteen dollars an eye..... Crazy where all these names are coming from.

Thanks for the ref very useful. I make fun of all the crazy names & accordingly ridiculous pricing in some cases. I call mine Green Polyps or whatever color the polyps are.. I was told my orange polyps are expensive BamBams!! I have hundreds to sell when I have time .. Thanks otherwise

Thanks Carlaw .. I enjoyed reefing for almost 20yrs had to give it up for 3 yrs due to works ...back in it in full swing at the ripe age of almost 71

I have my 300 since 2004, couple of crashes and 10 years later and I am still around. I am retired too, it is the only way to be ;).

I just posted some pics of mine in the showcase forum in case you got time to kill and wanna go looking ;)

Took a quick look I like very much your assortments of corals? I am not much for a bare bottom tank..but since you had it both ways and if U were to start another new setup.. which way will U go? Just curios

Thanks for the input. In my latest tank I started few weeks (like a couple three weeks) setting up rocks on a bare bottom but I decided not to go that route

As the Installer's work was on-going. We noticed something that really upset us. The Installer inspected the tank in his shop and kept it there for a month and was supposed to check it for leaks (not sure if he did that or not). We noticed several voids in the seams/joints that were IMO numerous. Anyhow I am learning to live with that situation and post it here for others to really insist in examining the seams before you have the tank in your home...

Just started reading thru your build thread. Great build so far. Then I seen the bubbles in your seams. OMG Did you inspect the tank before it left the shop? I would have not accepted it, (Thats just me) Is the installer also the tank builder?
Wife just walked in the door, I will continue reading your build and post as I read. Can't bring myself to read the whole thing ... then post.
Great job!
