Love it!! Lost my Orange Sun Coral, by my own stupidity, and really miss it!!! I've almost bought Black Sun Corals several times, but haven't yet.

Learn from my stupidity...lol. I fed mine by taking it out of the tank and putting it in a small container of SW/frozen Cyclopeeze. I'd leave it in the container for about 20 minutes and then return it to the tank. I did this about 3 times per week. Coral was growing new heads and thriving!! Unfortunately, I fed once, the morning we left for a few days. My daughter, who was tank sitting, called a couple days later, asking why the house stunk so bad!!! It took me a split second to realize I'd forgot to put the coral back in the tank!!! Grrrr

Ya the same thing happened to me but I was in Cali for a family emergency and my boyfriend was taking care of my tank. He had forgot to put it back in the water after he fed it so I came home to a dead sun coral  I have since forgiven him.

I use a turkey baster.....suck up some thawed mysis shrimp and squirt them on the open polyps. They munch them down like fat happy piglets! I've been feeding every other day....but just recently started feeding daily....I want them to grow and multiply a bit faster. I don't move them out of the tank for feeding. They also get some cyclopeze when I turn off the pumps and feed the corals.
