Hey Chuck! Maristar bracket questions...

My tank measures exactly 36". For some reason I can't get the brackets to measure 36"! Both configurations they show in the instructions don't work.

I guess I need to know how long is your tank, and did you have any problems fitting the brackets to that length?

Mine is 48" and had to figure out the right direction for the brackets, but got them in the correct configuration eventually to fit up with the tank. Try reversing the sliding part of the bracket and see if that gives the extension you need.

Thanks Chuck! I've tried both ways. One way won't slide open wide enough. The other way won't slide together close enough. I'll keep trying, I'm sure I'll figure it out! I think... :lol:

Yes I did receive them. I am sorry if I forgot to let you know. I have yet to put them on the tank though. The way I held it in with the lock washers has worked and haven't had the time to put those on, but I plan on it the next time I do maintenance on that fixture. Thank you

The tank looks good and with out the canopy on there your water surface will make with contact fresh air better, and that's always good.
